AWANA is a varied program with lots of different activities and options – from Bible quizzing, to games and relays, to even a “pinewood derby” type competition where children build and race their own cars.  In many ways, this is like a year-round “Vacation Bible School” filled with energy, fellowship and spiritual growth.

  • Children's Choir:

    • One of the things that we have discovered is that most Children love to sing.  Children's Choir is a time for kids of all ages to have a fantastic time singing fun songs, but also a time where they sing and learn about Jesus Christ.  Then all the parents and other folks at Antioch are privileged to be able to hear them sing in worship on Sundays from time to time.  This ministry is truly a treat for everyone young and old!  Children's Choir meets on Sundays at 3:30 p.m.

  • Mission Friends

    • Mission Friends is a ministry devoted to children ages 3 - 5 years.  Each month children study the life and experiences of a particular missionary. We participate in activities related to each missionary, such as where they live, ehat occupations they are involved in, and other themes related to the mission field.  Mission Friends meet on Wednesday evenings at 7 pm.

  • Girls in Action:

    • The purpose of the Girls in Action Group is to guide young girls (1st thru 5th grades) in their spiritual growth and to teach them about the missionaries around the world.  In learning about the missionaries around the world, we also learn about foreign lands, their religions, and we even sometimes get to the sample the food.  We also show girls how important it is to serve in our local community.  The GA's meet on Wednesday nights at 7:00pm, and we always have room for more.

  • Royal Ambassadors:

    • The purpose of the Royal Ambassador (RA) Ministry is to teach and guide young boys (1st - 5th grades) in their spiritual growth, and the knowledge of missionaries around the world.  RA's leaders also provide examples and opportunities for them to reach out and serve Christ and others in our community.  RA's meet on Wednesday evenings at 7 pm.
